Every month many innovative and exciting games enter the app store. Many of them are based on an all new story while many are sequels to already hit versions. In the following article, we have briefed out some of the most exciting and recent games for the iPad users.
Cut the Rope: Time travel
In this game, the player needs to deliver candy to om nom (two monsters) and his ancestors by cutting the ropes and solving various puzzles. To feed the monsters, the player has to smartly plan the multitasking gestures, like cutting the ropes and pushing buttons simultaneously. Traveling through six time periods, this game offers various levels from the Middle Ages to the Stone Age, including Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt along the way to visit the ancestors of Om Nom. Each level adds new gameplay mechanics like bombs, time stoppers, spikes, pendulums, pullies and spinning blades. These mechanics make the game even more interesting.
Badland
The game is set in the mythological woods housing various creatures and plants. The player has to control a flying creatures on its journey of discovery. Basically, it is a right to left scrolling puzzle game with perpetual motion. Many obstacles (like branches, weeds, falling rocks, blades, rotors, mines and sticky pipes) block the path of the player so he has to go over, between or below them or just avoid them. The game includes 40 levels fragmented into 4 chapters taking place over the course of a day (dawn, noon, dusk and night). Sometimes the player cannot fly and he has to hop along. Many power ups make the player smaller, bigger, speed up, slow down and spin. Each of these power ups enter at a steady pace throughout the game. This game also comes with 16 multiplayer levels, allowing up to four players.
Slayin
The player needs to control Knight, the hero of the game (by default). Knight has to fight various types of enemies in his way. Each of these enemies has got a unique attack pattern; however the strategy to beat them all is the same. While playing the player needs to collect coins and trinkets to get more scores. The coins can be used to buy weapons, armor and food to boost health. Once dead, the hero (knight) will be given a gravestone with his milestones inscribed on it. The player also gets fame points (in-game currency) through which he can decorate the tombstone or buy the other heroes (or characters).
All these games are available at the Apple app store. You can download them now and get started with hours of fun and entertainment.
